Research Use Only Policy
Clear standards for responsible laboratory and research use.
Products labeled or sold by Incredible Peptides as Research Use Only are intended strictly for legitimate laboratory, analytical, and scientific research consistent with applicable laws, product labeling, and institutional requirements.
Section 01 — Overview
This policy sets out how products supplied by Incredible Peptides may be used, who they are intended for, and the responsibilities a purchaser accepts when ordering them. It applies to every product offered through incrediblepeptides.com and operates alongside our Terms and Conditions, product labeling, and any documentation supplied with an individual product.
The Research Use Only designation is a condition of sale, not a formality. It defines the intended use of the material and the basis on which we are willing to supply it. Where this policy and a product label describe the same restriction, both apply.
Section 02 — What Research Use Only means
Research Use Only means the material is supplied for controlled research or laboratory work carried out by qualified personnel. It is not marketed, sold, or supplied as an approved medicine, dietary supplement, food, cosmetic, medical device, veterinary product, or consumer therapeutic product of any kind.
Nothing about the availability of a compound, the documentation published for it, or the literature that exists about it changes that intended use.
- Analytical and method-development research
- Chemical and biochemical research
- Reference and comparative laboratory work
- In-vitro research in an appropriate setting
- Assay and instrumentation-related research
- Laboratory quality-control and validation work
Section 03 — No human use
Products supplied for Research Use Only are not intended for human consumption or administration in any form, and must not be used in or on the human body. This restriction is absolute and is not affected by the purchaser’s profession, qualifications, or intentions.
We do not provide dosing, administration, preparation-for-use, or reconstitution-for-administration guidance, and our team cannot answer questions framed around personal use.
- Ingestion, injection, or implantation
- Topical or therapeutic application
- Self-administration of any kind
- Clinical or diagnostic use in humans
- Use as a medication or supplement
- Compounding for human administration
Section 04 — No animal or veterinary use
Products supplied for Research Use Only are not intended for veterinary treatment, diagnosis, or therapeutic administration, and are not approved or offered for use in animals. Nothing on this site should be read as veterinary guidance or as an approval for animal administration.
Legitimate institutional animal research is governed entirely by the purchaser’s own regulatory approvals, ethics oversight, and institutional protocols. We do not supply products for consumer or at-home veterinary use under any circumstances.
Section 05 — Qualified purchasers
Products are intended for researchers, laboratories, academic and research institutions, biotechnology and analytical organizations, and other purchasers acquiring research materials for legitimate research and development. Account registration asks for a researcher type and an RUO acknowledgment, and we retain those responses.
Acceptance of an order is not a determination that a purchaser holds any particular credential, license, or qualification. Where the intended use or legitimacy of an order is unclear, we may request additional information before releasing it.
Section 06 — Purchaser responsibilities
Responsibility for lawful, safe, and appropriate use sits with the purchaser and their organization. By ordering, you accept responsibility for the following.
- Understanding the laws and regulations applicable to your work and jurisdiction
- Following your institution’s policies, approvals, and protocols
- Observing product labeling and any documentation supplied
- Handling, storing, and disposing of material appropriately
- Using suitable personal protective equipment
- Ensuring personnel are trained for the work
- Maintaining controlled access where appropriate
- Preventing diversion to human or veterinary consumption
- Ensuring anyone downstream understands the RUO restrictions
Section 07 — No medical claims
We do not sell products for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or condition. Statements made on this site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Product descriptions are not prescribing information, references to published research are not medical recommendations, and the existence of research involving a compound does not change the intended use of the product we supply. Research information published here is not an invitation to personal use.
Section 08 — Scientific and educational information
Chemical names, sequence and molecular information, technical specifications, and references to scientific literature are published for research, analytical, educational, and informational purposes.
None of that content creates a medical claim, establishes an authorized therapeutic use, or represents a recommendation to use a compound in any particular way.
Section 09 — Product information and documentation
Specifications vary by product and by lot. Purchasers should review the documentation published for the specific product and lot they receive rather than relying on general descriptions.
Certificates of analysis are published by lot and can be located through COA Lookup using the lot number printed on the vial. Technical specifications describe the material as tested; they are not instructions for use and do not imply suitability for any therapeutic purpose.
Section 10 — Third-party research references
Where scientific literature or third-party studies are referenced anywhere on this site, that research is independent of Incredible Peptides. Referencing a study is not an endorsement of any use described in it.
Published research outcomes do not convert a Research Use Only product into an approved medical product, and we make no therapeutic recommendation by pointing to the literature.
Section 11 — Laboratory handling
Material should be handled only in a controlled research environment, by personnel trained for the work, in line with the purchaser’s own safety procedures and any documentation supplied with the product.
- Handle in a controlled laboratory environment
- Restrict handling to qualified personnel
- Keep containers clearly labeled
- Avoid cross-contamination between materials
- Use appropriate equipment for the work
- Keep records consistent with your institution’s practice
- Store securely with controlled access
- Segregate research materials from other stock
Section 12 — Safety and protective equipment
Standard laboratory precautions apply to all research materials supplied by Incredible Peptides. Follow your facility’s safety procedures, and where product-specific safety documentation is supplied with an order, follow that documentation.
- Appropriate gloves
- Eye protection
- Laboratory coat or protective clothing
- Clean, uncluttered work surface
- Avoid direct skin, eye, and inhalation exposure
- Follow your facility’s safety and disposal procedures
Section 13 — Storage and stability
Store material in accordance with the product labeling, the packaging, and any storage guidance supplied for that specific product. Storage requirements differ between compounds and between formats.
Where product-specific guidance is provided, it takes precedence over any general statement on this page.
Section 14 — Prohibited uses
The following uses are prohibited. They are not exhaustive, and any use inconsistent with the Research Use Only designation is outside the terms on which we supply material.
- Human consumption or self-administration
- Human injection or any other administration
- Veterinary or clinical treatment
- Diagnostic use in humans or animals
- Prescribing, dispensing, or compounding for therapeutic use
- Relabeling material for human consumption
- Representing products as approved medicines
- Promoting products for therapeutic outcomes
- Removing or obscuring RUO labeling
- Supplying material to individuals for personal consumption
- Any use that violates applicable law
- Fraudulent or deceptive use of any kind
Section 15 — Resale, redistribution and diversion
Purchasers must not resell, redistribute, relabel, or market Incredible Peptides products in any manner that misrepresents their intended use, removes the RUO restrictions, promotes human or veterinary administration, creates a medical claim, or violates applicable law.
Approved wholesale partners purchase under the same restrictions as every other customer and are responsible for ensuring their own customers receive the material with its research-use restrictions intact. Wholesale terms are described on the Wholesale page.
Section 16 — Product labeling
RUO labeling and the warnings that accompany it are part of the intended-use restrictions, not decoration. Labeling must remain intact and legible for as long as the material is in a purchaser’s possession.
Removing, concealing, altering, or misrepresenting that labeling in a way that changes the represented intended use of the product is prohibited.
Section 17 — Regulatory responsibility
Purchasers are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws, regulations, institutional rules, and permit requirements that apply to their research and their jurisdiction. Requirements vary widely, and we are not in a position to determine them on a customer’s behalf.
Acceptance of an order does not constitute legal or regulatory advice, and does not represent a determination that a purchaser’s intended work is permitted where they operate.
Section 18 — Institutional compliance
Where a purchase is made on behalf of a university, laboratory, research organization, or company, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the required internal approvals, protocols, permissions, and safety procedures are in place before the material is ordered or used.
Institutional purchasers are also responsible for ensuring that everyone who will handle the material understands the restrictions in this policy.
Section 19 — Order review and verification
Orders may be reviewed where something suggests a compliance concern. Where that happens, we may ask about intended research use, the organization placing the order, or other details relevant to responsible distribution.
This is a normal part of supplying research materials responsibly. Most orders are never affected by it, and where we do ask, a short reply is usually all that is needed.
Section 20 — Right to refuse or cancel service
We may decline, limit, cancel, or refuse any order, and may suspend account access, where there is a reasonable concern about intended misuse, human or veterinary consumption, fraud, misrepresentation, resale for prohibited purposes, attempts to circumvent these restrictions, illegal activity, or any violation of this policy.
Examples include orders that describe a human or animal application, requests for dosing advice, and order details inconsistent with a research or institutional purchase.
Section 21 — Suspected misuse
Where there is credible evidence of misuse or a policy violation, we may take proportionate action.
- Requesting clarification of intended use
- Holding or canceling an affected order
- Restricting future purchases
- Closing purchasing access
- Declining to supply particular products
Section 22 — No professional advice
Nothing published on this site constitutes medical, veterinary, legal, regulatory, or clinical advice. Anyone requiring advice of that kind should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
Section 23 — Accidental exposure and emergencies
Accidental exposure, spills, and other incidents should be handled according to your facility’s established laboratory and workplace safety procedures, and any safety documentation supplied with the product.
In an emergency, seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance. We cannot provide medical treatment guidance.
Section 24 — Acceptance of this policy
Creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using this site constitutes acceptance of this Research Use Only Policy in full, alongside our Terms and Conditions. Account registration includes an acknowledgment of research use, and that acknowledgment is retained with the account.
By purchasing, you confirm that you have reviewed these restrictions and agree to comply with them, with the product labeling, and with the related terms of sale.
Section 25 — Policy updates
We may revise this policy to reflect operational changes, product changes, compliance practice, or legal and regulatory developments. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the date shown at the top of this page changes accordingly.
Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
